RESOLVE is a national nonprofit organization based in Boston, Massachusetts, that supports and advocates for those affected by infertility. RESOLVE has over 50 chapters around the United States, including one in Houston. RESOLVE was founded in 1974 to provide information, advocacy, education, and support to its members. The Houston chapter of RESOLVE offers members a way to take charge of their infertility by providing knowledge, support, and resources for the journey toward becoming a parent. Among the services offered by the Houston chapter are:
*peer support groups that meet monthly.
*a comprehensive website that includes links to a variety of infertility resources
*monthly educational meetings on different aspects of infertility and adoption
* a helpline offering information and support from a trained volunteer
*access to national RESOLVE resources, such as the magazine, physician databases, advocacy, and a national hotline.
